The restriction that teachers on career break can only be employed by a school for up to 300 hours has been removed for the remainder of the current school year.
This means that schools may employ a teacher on career break to cover in a substitute capacity, without having to adhere to the restriction outlined in Paragraph 5.1 (Career Break Scheme) (Click here to view).
