The Teaching Council Elections take place from February 24th to March 11th.
Electing ASTI-endorsed candidates to the Teaching Council will help to ensure ASTI members’ concerns are considered by the Teaching Council.
ASTI members in Community and Comprehensive Schools have an important opportunity to elect an ASTI member to represent them. Miriam Duggan teaches in Rosmini Community School in Dublin and is the ASTI-endorsed candidate running in the Teaching Council Community and Comprehensive Constituency.
Other ASTI-endorsed candidates are:
Kathleen Burke running in the Ireland South Constituency
Niall Duddy running in the Ireland North Constituency
Pauline Nagle running in the Ireland South Constituency
Teachers registered with the Teaching Council will receive voting instructions from the Teaching Council.
