ASTI is aware that management bodies have advised schools to advertise Post of Responsibility vacancies that exist in their schools. The appointments will proceed under the terms of existing relevant Circular Letters.
ASTI wishes to clarify that eligible members are free to apply for these posts as, in keeping with long standing ASTI policy, they are to be filled using normal appointment procedures and attract the appropriate Post of Responsibility pensionable allowance.
