The ASTI supports Irish Congress of Trade Union’s housing campaign. As part of this campaign, Raise the Roof – a coalition of trade unions and other organisation is undertaking a major petition on the Right to Housing.
Some 81 countries around the world have enshrined the Right to Housing in law. While this measure will not resolve the crisis in itself, it has been identified by many housing experts as a key component in any overall resolution.
