As part of an ongoing series of online events, SCoTENS (The Standing Conference on Teacher Education North and South) are running a Student Teacher Exchange Series which gives student teachers the opportunity to meet virtually with other student teachers, north and south, to share ideas and resources and to work together on ways of teaching about sustainability and living sustainably. The series is virtual and free to all student teachers.
During the week beginning 7 March 2022, SCoTENS will host a series of short workshop-style events which will maximise opportunities to learn about teaching sustainability across primary and post-primary placement settings. Irish and European experts from the field will introduce participants to a range of helpful materials and tools that can be used in classrooms and schools to investigate, test and construct practical responses to the challenge of sustainable living.
