Teachers sought for sustainable development working groups
The Department of Education and Skills’ Education for Sustainable Development Advisory Group includes a nominee from the teacher unions. The Group works to provide leadership and co-ordination in this important policy area.
In addition to the Advisory Group, five working groups are being established in each of the following areas:
· Youth Participation
· Raising Awareness
· Curriculum
· Sustainability in Action
· Data Collection and Baseline Management
The ASTI has been asked to provide nominees for these five working groups. ASTI members who are interested in being nominated by the ASTI should email their name and contact details with an A4 page outlining their suitability to the ASTI General Secretary, [email protected], before close of business on Wednesday, April 3rd. Please indicate the working group to which you would be interested in being nominated.
