Standing Committee met today (26th May) and received a briefing on the contents of two letters received from the Department of Education and Skills. These letters addressed issues pertaining to the forthcoming Special Convention on June 10th and our recently issued directives on withdrawal from substitution duties.
Members should note that ASTI are currently engaged in the National Pay talks that are underway and expected to conclude in early June.
Standing Committee are keeping all matters under review at this time.
