World Teachers’ Day 2018 takes place on Friday, October 5th. Held annually, World Teachers’ Day commemorates the anniversary of the signing of the 1966 UNESCO/ILO Recommendation concerning the Status of Teachers.

ASTI school staff can organise a staffroom cake to celebrate World Teachers’ Day and recoup the cost by submitting receipts directly to their Branch Treasurer.
This offers ASTI staff an opportunity to welcome new members to the ASTI.
