ASTI responds to Teacher Sharing Scheme announcement
The ASTI supports the concept of increased flexibility in the recruitment of teachers in order to address the high level of casualisation in second-level teaching which has resulted in low working hours and low incomes for many recently qualified teachers and is exacerbating the issue of teacher shortages.
Teachers with conditional registration with the Teaching Council – Final call to contact Teaching Council
The Teaching Council is making a final call for registered teachers with a conditional expiry date in February 2019 to get in touch immediately.
Applications to Teacher Refund Scheme
If you successfully undertook a course/ part of a course of study between 1st September 2017 – 31st August 2018 you may be eligible for a partial refund of course or examination fees through the Teacher Fee Refund Scheme.
